Ken E. Jenkins, Professional Land Surveyor
Founder and President Ken Jenkins received his training and career experience in Western Montana. He has more than forty years of experience in land surveying, route surveying, land use planning, mapping and consulting. Ken opened Montana Northwest Company in 2002, committed to providing quality professional surveying and associated services. Ken is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Montana and Idaho. He has managed and supervised projects for private, corporate and government agencies. Clients include the US Forest Service, Montana Department of Transportation, US Fish and Wildlife Services, US Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Highway Administration, US Army Corps of Engineers, Bonneville Power Administration and hundreds of private sector clients. He has served as a subject matter consultant and expert witness on significant legal cases in Montana. Ken is a member and Past President of the Montana Association of Professional Land Surveyors. He served on the Montana Land Information Advisory Council. Ken is an active member of the Missoula Organization of Realtors and the Missoula Building Industry Association.
Keith L. Brandt, Staff Surveyor
Keith joined Montana Northwest Company in 2008 and serves as a staff surveyor and crew chief on a variety of projects. His formal education (Montana State University, B.S. 1999) focused on landscape design with emphasis on landscape architecture, site development surveying and mapping. His prior work history includes carpentry, general construction, and several years as a forestry technician for Kootenai National Forest, Rexford District. Keith has a wealth of experience in cadastral boundary surveying and has been established in dozens of miles of boundary and recovered literally hundreds of PLSS corners and property corners.
Michael R. Rice, LSI - Land Surveyor
Michael joined Montana Northwest Company in July of 2020. He has brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team with his field experience all the way to his attention to detail drafting in the office. Michael received his BS in Construction Engineering Technology and a Minor in Land Surveying from Montana State University in 2012. Michael's well rounded love for Montana keeps him outside enjoying the outdoors with his family, when he is not at work .
Lynne M. Edens, Staff Planner-Office Manager
Lynne joined Montana Northwest Company in July 2013. Born and raised in Montana on a ranch, dairy and farm, Lynne brings over 30 years of experience in planning, bookkeeping, office administration and human resources to the company. Her formal education and training includes business administration, accounting, marketing and human resource. Lynne’s precise organizational skills and bookkeeping experience enhances the expertise of Montana Northwest Companies administrative team and contributes to the delivery of the highest quality of services available. Lynne has been very active community member serving as a leader in Ravalli County 4-H for 11 years, is a Committee Member on Missoula Chicks N Chaps and served as an officer on the Missoula Chamber of Commerce Red Coats Committee. Being a native Montana gal, you can find Lynne enjoying everything about the great outdoors when she is not working in the office.
Logan Schoening, Field Surveyor
Logan joined Montana Northwest Company in 2018. Working on our field surveying team to complete tasks from the woods to subdivision construction mapping. Surveying in Montana offers a wide variety of work from Lot surveys in town to marking miles of line in the forest and setting corners. Logan is a seventh generation Montanan who likes to hunt, fish, camp and enjoy everything Montana.
